Back To Writing

Its been a long time since I put up my blog post. Looking back it was actually in December that I last wrote. Unfortunately with my father passing away and then travelling to India hence trying to juggle a few things around, its hard to believe how quickly time has flown and here we are at the end of February 2019.

Sunday Morning Yoga

IMG_20190217_105505_620But a few new things have also taken place. Fore example I have now started teaching a Sunday morning Yoga class at Ayurveda Pura Health Spa from 9am to 10am. I have been asked – “Why on a Sunday morning?” My silly answer usually is because “I definitely know how to keep myself busy!” But the real answer is because “I love teaching and talking about Yoga as much as I love talking about Ayurveda. Sunday morning is the only time I have to be able to do this (before I go into teaching at 10am).

The classes I teach are of the more classical traditional style following the ancient texts of Yoga. Do come along and experience at least one lesson to find out what I am talking about. To find out more, click here.

Vedic Sound Therapy and Mantras Workshop

One other workshop that I will be running in March (March 16th, 10am to 4pm) that I especially excited about is the Vedic Sound Therapy and Mantra Workshop. People don’t understand the impact of sound on our everyday life, health, mental or physical well being. The effect of sound on us is profound and it may also affect our life span.

The best example I can give is – If there is a group of teenagers nearby who are happy, laughing, conversing, and having some light-hearted fun – this makes us equally happy. But if the same group of teenagers are yelling shouting arguing fighting – this automatically makes us feel uncomfortable, insecure, and fearful.

Hence sound and its effects are ever so essential. In Vedic principles we are looking at sounds through mantras, melodies, tunes to bring a positive effect on our mental and physical wellbeing including everyday life.

During this workshop I will be going through all the important healing mantras, their meaning, scientific effects, indications etc. Not only that, we will also have a practical session whereby you will be able to experience the effects of these healing sounds. Click Here to Book

Ayurveda Pura Tea Stories

When people taste Ayurveda Pura Teas, their first response is – “they are divine, they are so delicious, they are so effective” and of course the next automatic questions is – “where do you source your teas from?”

And the answer is – we don’t buy them from anywhere, Ayurveda Pura makes them.

Mentoring Day for Ayurvedic Practitioners, Graduates, Therapists and Students

Once one has finished studying and starts their karma yoga to heal and help people, sometimes it can be a lonely journey. But my aim is to break that monotony of it all. I started Mentoring days last year to bring Ayurvedic practitioners, therapists, consultants and students together so that they can feel being a part of a bigger community. And that’s something I will be doing again in May 2019. Click here for details

I will spend a day with you guiding and advising you on how, upon successfully completing your course, you can grow as a practitioner.

It will be the perfect time to ask all the questions that have been on your mind as well as benefit from the questions asked by others. I will also speak on a specific topic for 90 minutes to make this day worthwhile. This time I plan to talk on specific practical remedies and management of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
