Starting Off! I have been planning to start a Blog on Ayurveda and Yoga for a very long time. But I reckon time constraints and work have always stopped me. Couple of weeks ago I met up with a few people in the field of holistic health and that inspired me to go back to what I love the most – writing!
In this first introductory post which I promise I will keep it short, all I want to let you know is what to expect through these blogs that you will receive regularly.
I love talking about Ayurveda, Yoga and the Vedic philosophies and that’s exactly what I plan to do here – write about topics that not many talk about.
In Ayurveda we believe that knowledge is great, knowledge is divine, but it is of no use if you can’t put it to practice. Therefore this is my attempt of putting this wonderful science of Ayurveda and Yoga into everyday practice for a better quality of life.
In Ayurveda we also say that once you get to know the answer for “WHY”, the how, what, when, where automatically fall in place. Hence it’s my attempt to bring the answers of all the Why’s from the point of view of Ayurveda and Yoga.
I also plan to keep the blogs quite varied. Hence I will be talking about various topics and here are just some of them.
- Ayurvedic knowledge and explaining the Why’s.
- Yoga Philosophy and really understanding what Yoga is all about.
- Ayurvedic remedies for various everyday illnesses and ailments.
- Simple Ayurvedic Recipes to integrate into a busy life.
- Simple Yoga practices to bring back balance.
- Visits to various spas, centres, and clinics along with interviews with successful and aspiring practitioners, therapists and teachers.
My plan is to blog twice a week so that’s like every three – four days. So watch out for blog emails from deepaapte.com
PS: If there is anything specific that you would want me to talk about, please don’t hesitate to write to me via the contact form. I look forward to hearing from you.
And before I end this note, let me leave you with a quote from Ayurveda: Every sunrise brings a new day and every new day brings a new beginning.
Here is to New Beginnings! Namaste!
